VAT (value-added tax) is known in some countries as a goods and services tax (GST). It is a general consumption tax that is collected at each state of production.
Kite is registered in the UK, where VAT is currently 20%. We have to collect VAT on all UK and EU orders, although registered EU businesses can opt to have their VAT-rated (and pay the equivalent to their own government instead).
