If you’re a customer in the UK, we’re legally required to collect 20% VAT on the cost of your orders. This is the case regardless of whether or not your business is VAT registered.
Unfortunately we are not able to make exceptions for UK customers under any circumstances. If your business is VAT registered and you find you have overpaid VAT, it is possible to claim back the difference from HMRC.
If you’re a customer elsewhere in the European Union, we’re still legally required to collect 20% VAT on the cost of your orders.
However, if your company is VAT registered in any EU country aside from the UK, we can zero-rate the VAT on your orders.
To request this, please contact our customer support team with your VAT registration number (including 2-letter country code) and business address.
(Note to UK customers: EU companies still have to pay VAT on their purchases. They just do so directly to their home government).
US & Rest of World Customers
If you’re a customer outside of the EU, you are not required to pay VAT on your orders.
If you find you are being charged VAT by mistake, this is likely to be because we were unable to determine your location when you signed up. You’ll need to contact our customer support team in order to correct this.
